Abstract:
An aqueous ballpoint ink composition which comprises titanium oxide as white pigment, a viscosity modifier and flaky resin particles. This composition permits color matching with colorants (such as pigments) and exhibits a viscosity of 100 to 20,000 cP at 20 °C. The flaky resin particles have a mean particle diameter of 0.05 to 10 $g(m)m and the content thereof is 1 to 35 wt.% based on the whole ink composition. The content of titanium oxide is 5 to 50 wt.% based on the whole ink composition. Further, polysaccharides are used as the viscosity modifier and the content thereof is 0.1 to 2 wt.% based thereon.
