Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an aqueous composition that is viscous enough to be the base of an aqueous cosmetic that is a gel or a cream but does not feel sticky and does not lose viscosity, even when a large amount of a salt-type chemical is added thereto; and an aqueous cosmetic that uses the aqueous composition. The present invention relates to an aqueous cosmetic that is characterized by containing (A) an oil gelling agent that includes at least one of 12-hydroxystearic acid and dibutyl lauroyl glutamide, (B) a non-ionic surfactant that is selected from the group that consists of polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene alkyl ethers and polyglycerin fatty acid esters, (C) an aqueous organic solvent, and (D) a dispersant.
