Abstract:
The present invention is an aqueous heat sealing agent which is characterized by containing an aqueous solvent, an olefin-α, β-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer and a wax. An aqueous heat sealing agent according to the present invention is capable of achieving a good balance between a heat seal function, which is desired for an alternative for a polyethylene film that is used in a paper container such as a paper cup, and waterproof properties and strength, which are desired for a coating agent for the cup inner surface, while being able to be recycled without segregation at the time of paper recycling. The present invention is able to provide a paper container which uses this aqueous heat sealing agent.
