Abstract:
A determining device for determining a load applied to a synchronizing device 70 of a transmission 60 including a main transmission 60A having the synchronizing device 70, and a sub transmission 60B connected to the main transmission 60A so as to be capable of transmitting power, the determining device including: a load computing unit 110 that computes a load D applied to the synchronizing device 70 in accordance with a gearshift operation on the basis of input and output rotations of the transmission 60; a load determining unit 120 that determines whether or not a load no less than a predetermined load is applied to the synchronizing device 70 on the basis of the load D computed; and a load computation forbidding unit 130 that forbids computation of the load D by the load computing unit 110 in a case where the gearshift operation involves switching of a range of the sub transmission 60B.
