Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an aqueous pigment dispersion which maintains excellent storage stability and is able to be used for the production of an inkjet printing ink that is capable of forming a clear print image that is suppressed in color unevenness and the like, while exhibiting excellent water resistance. The present invention provides an aqueous pigment dispersion which contains (A) a pigment, (B) a pigment dispersion resin that has an anionic group and a structure (X) represented by general formula (I) or (II), and (C) an aqueous medium, and which is characterized in that the pigment dispersion resin (B) contains 0.2 to 1.5 mmol/g of the anionic group relative to the total amount of the pigment dispersion resin (B).
