Abstract:
An arc detection circuit (10) comprising: a current detector (12) which detects current supplied from a power supply device (PV panel (30)) via a transmission path (36); a voltage detector (14) which detects the voltage applied to the transmission path (36); and an arc evaluation unit (16) which, if a prescribed frequency component of the current has exceeded a first threshold value, evaluates that an arc has occurred in the transmission path on the basis of the voltage.
