Abstract:
Disclosed are an arc extinguishing unit, an interruption unit, and an air circuit breaker comprising same. The present invention provides an arc extinguishing unit, an interruption unit, and an air circuit breaker comprising same, the arc extinguishing unit comprising: side plates which are disposed so as to be spaced from and face each other; a plurality of grids which are disposed between the side plates, are spaced from each other, and are each coupled to the side plates; and a grid cover which is positioned on the upper side of the grids so as to cover the grids. The grids each comprise: grid legs downwardly extending so as to surround, from both sides, a protruding contact which is disposed so as to upwardly extend from a movable contact; and a first protection unit formed so as to surround at least a portion of the grid legs from the lower portion of the grid legs.
