Abstract:
Disclosed are a circuit breaking unit and an air circuit breaker including same. The present invention provides the circuit breaking unit comprising: a fixed contact point; a movable contact point that comes into contact with or moves away from the fixed contact point; a fixed contact point base that extends upward and has, at the lower end, the fixed contact point; a movable contact point base on which the movable contact point is disposed, the movable contact point base being configured such that the movable contact point moves in the direction toward the fixed contact point or in the direction away from the fixed contact point; and a low runner which is disposed extending above the fixed contact point, and has one end coupled to the fixed contact point base and the other end spaced apart from the fixed contact point base. A U-shaped assembly or a magnetic unit is located between the low runner and the fixed contact point base.
