Abstract:

An article recognition system (100) comprises: an article information acquisition device (110) that acquires an image indicating a subject article (230) and a transfer source container (210) which is not subject to recognition; a first learning unit (151) which recognizes, by a first learning, a non-subject article figure which is the figure of a subject article other than the subject article that is included in the image captured by the article information acquisition device (110); a removal image generation unit (153) which removes the non-subject article figure from the image captured by the article information acquisition device (110); and a second learning unit (154) which recognizes the figures of a plurality of subject articles by a second learning on the basis of the image obtained by removing the non-subject article figure by the removal image generation unit (153).
