Abstract:
Conventionally, there has been a need for, while reducing the number of components of an article storage device, enabling an opening part of a container to be opened and closed with a simple operation. This article storage device is provided with: a storage shelf 12 having placed thereon a container 24 having an opening part; and a lid 28 that is provided to a member separate from the container, and is capable of reciprocating between a closed position in which the opening part of the container 24 disposed at a predetermined position of the storage shelf 12 is closed, and an open position in which the opening part is opened with the lid retreated from the closed position. Accordingly, it is possible to open/close the container 24 with a simple operation by using the same lid 28 in such a case as when a plurality of the containers 24 are sequentially disposed on the storage shelf.
