Abstract:
An artificial intelligence system for providing road danger information and a method therefor according to the present invention are provided. A system for providing road danger information according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an information collecting unit for receiving various types of road condition information acquired from a vehicular device; an information processing unit for performing image processing of the collected road condition information and converting a specific grayscale image on the basis of a result of the image processing; an information learning unit for learning the converted specific grayscale image on the basis of a predetermined deep learning-based learning model, and recognizing road danger information on the basis of a result of the learning; and an information classification unit for classifying the road danger information from the road condition information on the basis of a result of the recognition, and detecting a road surface defect on the basis of a result of the classification.
