Abstract:
Provided is an assay method that uses surface plasmon-field enhanced fluorescence spectroscopy (SPFS) and that suppresses fluctuations in the absolute value of the background signal referred to as optical black or the resonance angle by means of ameliorating the effect when using a whole blood sample, specifically by means of the blood cell component remaining in the measurement liquid during SPFS measurement, with regards to a photometric condition setting step, which is a step characteristic of assay methods using SPFS. The assay method using SPFS has a primary reaction step of a sample, a first washing step, a labeling reaction step, and a measurement step, and between the primary reaction step and the labeling reaction step, includes an evaluation step for the blood cell component quantity.
