Abstract:
This assessment device includes: a gaze detection unit that detects gaze of a subject; a movement rate calculation unit that calculates the rate of movement of the gaze of the subject; a frequency distribution calculation unit that calculates the frequency of the rate of movement of the gaze on the basis of the calculated rate of movement of the gaze and determines the frequency distribution of the rate of movement of the gaze; a computation unit that compares, from the frequency distribution, a first frequency obtained from frequencies included in a first speed range which is less than a predetermined speed with a second frequency obtained from frequencies included in a second speed range which is greater than or equal to the predetermined speed; and an assessment unit that determines assessment data of the subject on the basis of results of comparison from the computation unit.
