Abstract:
[Problem] To increase reliability in holding luggage with hand parts in an assist device which is provided with right and left hand parts. [Solution] Each of hand parts 20 is provided with a horizontal wall holding part 31 that abuts on the horizontal wall of luggage and an extension part 32 that extends laterally from the horizontal wall holding part 31 and abuts on the upper surface of the luggage. The present invention is provided with an approach operation part 29 that generates an operation force for causing the hand parts 20 to approach each other while the hand parts 20 are set on the luggage. The extension part 32 of the hand part 20 is provided with a handle part 33 that can be gripped by an operator. The approach operation part 29 is provided with a right support 39 and a left support 41 which are provided on the upper surface of the extension 32. The left and right supports 39, 41 are each provided with a first hooking part 38a and a second hooking part 38b for hooking left and right cord-like bodies 28 on.
