Abstract:
An atomizing core (100) of an electronic cigarette and the electronic cigarette. The atomizing core (100) of the electronic cigarette comprises a porous body (1) and a heating body (3); the porous body (1) comprises a liquid absorbing end and an atomizing end; a protrusion block (2) is provided on the atomizing end; the protrusion block (2) has an end face away from the porous body (1) and a side surface located on the periphery of the protrusion block (2); the heating body (3) is provided on the end face, and a distance from at least part of the heating body (3) to the edge of the end face is less than a predetermined value, such that the at least part of the end face and at least part of the side surface both form atomizing surfaces. In this way, when the atomizing surfaces formed by the protrusion block (2) are fully utilized, the utilization efficiency of the thermal energy of the heating body (3) can be ensured on the basis of increasing the heating rate of the heating body (3).
