Abstract:
This technology relates to an audio output device and an inspection method which can easily detect the presence or absence of an abnormality in an actuator. This audio output device comprises: a plurality of actuators that cause audio to be outputted from the front surface side of a diaphragm by vibrating the diaphragm from the back surface side; and a determination unit that determines the presence or absence of an abnormality of an actuator to be inspected from among the actuators on the basis of a displacement signal from a measurement actuator disposed in the vicinity of the actuator to be inspected, the displacement signal being outputted in accordance with vibration of the actuator to be inspected. This technology can be applied, for example, to a display device having a large-screen display unit such as an LED display.
