Abstract:
An authentication apparatus comprises a controlled device and a plurality of
mobile units that radio communicate with the controlled device. The controlled
device has a first control part, a first transmitting part that is controlled
by the first control part, and a first receiving part. Each of the plurality of
mobile units has a second control part, a mobile unit reply order storing part
that is controlled by the second control part, a second transmitting part, and
a second receiving part. When a communication signal is transmitted from the
first transmitting part of the controlled device to the second receiving parts
of the plurality of mobile units, the mobile units reply, in accordance with respective
numbers stored in the respective mobile unit reply order storing parts, respective
first communication signals at predetermined time intervals with no first communication
signals temporally overlapping each other.
