Abstract:

A client device converts second input authentication information relating to data content conforming to a second authentication scheme different from a first authentication scheme into authentication object information having a data format conforming to the first authentication scheme, and transmits information corresponding thereto to a communication server device. The server device is capable of performing both a first process of providing a first authentication server device, which performs an authentication process conforming to the first authentication scheme, with first information corresponding to the authentication object information, and a second process of providing a second authentication server device, which performs an authentication process conforming to the second authentication scheme, with second information corresponding to the authentication object information. The server device transmits, to a communication server device, authentication result information based on at least one of an authentication result from the first authentication server device which is based on the first information, and an authentication result from the second authentication server device which is based on the second information.
