The method comprises: acquiring a first image of an identification card, wherein the first image includes a first human face image (102); acquiring a second image including the human face of a person to be verified (104); carrying out human face comparison on the first image and the second image to obtain a first comparison result (106); and obtaining an authentication result according to the first comparison result (108).
