Abstract:
This automated workpiece conveyor adjusts an acceleration/deceleration time during the conveyance of a workpiece, and includes: a robot hand comprising a chuck device for gripping the workpiece; a driving mechanism that moves the robot hand to a target position; and a control device that, with respect to speed changes in acceleration, constant speed, and deceleration until the robot hand is moved to the target position, identifies a state in which the gripped workpiece might fall or become misaligned, changes a time constant for determining the acceleration/deceleration time with respect to the acceleration and/or the deceleration, and performs control on a driving motor of the driving mechanism.
