Abstract:
This distributed double-balanced mixer includes unit cells (4a-1 to 4a-N), each of which outputs the following signals to transmission lines (CPW20pp, CPW20nn, CPW20np, CPW20pn) without synthesizing said signals: a signal (R++) obtained by synthesizing an in-phase LO signal (LO+) and an in-phase IF signal (IF+); a signal (RF--) obtained by synthesizing a reverse-phase LO signal (LO-) and a reverse-phase IF signal (IF-); a signal (RF-+) obtained by synthesizing the reverse-phase LO signal (LO-) and the in-phase IF signal (IF+); and a signal (RF+-) obtained by synthesizing the in-phase LO signal (LO+) and the reverse-phase IF signal (IF-).
