Abstract:
Disclosed are an automatic detection system and method for pathogens in exhalation. The system comprises an in-gas pathogen recovery unit, a pathogen concentration unit, and a sample detection unit. The method comprises: a sample recovered by the in-gas pathogen recovery unit enters the pathogen concentration unit; in the pathogen concentration unit, pathogen particles in the sample are gradually shifted toward the positive electrode side into a concentration channel under the action of electrodes; a fluctuating voltage greater than zero is applied to a single sub-positive electrode, and the voltage of a sub-positive electrode adjacent thereto alternately changes with the fluctuating voltage, a varying potential difference is formed between the adjacent sub-positive electrodes, the pathogen particles are gradually enriched in a middle region of the two adjacent sub-positive electrodes, and a concentrated sample is driven to move to the sample detection unit; and the concentrated sample is immediately detected in the sample detection unit. The present invention has high detection sensitivity and a low cost, and may carry out continuous, rapid and integrated sampling and detection on pathogens for multiple individuals.
