Abstract:
Provided are an automatic driving assistance system, an automatic driving assistance method, and a computer program for specifying a planned travel route on which a vehicle is going to travel hereafter. More specifically, when a vehicle is going to travel by automatic driving assistance, the system is configured so as to: determine whether or not a guide route for performing travel guidance of the vehicle has been set in a navigation device 1 (S8); if it is determined that a guide route has been set, specify a route along the guide route as the planned travel route (S9); if it is determined that a guide route has not been set, specify a planned travel route on the basis of road information that specifies the lane partitioning ahead of the vehicle in the traveling direction and connections of roads for the respective lanes (S11); and perform automatic driving assistance of the vehicle in accordance with the specified planned travel route.
