Abstract:
With the objective of providing an automobile assembly line having increased assembly work efficiency of parts attached to the bottom of a vehicle body, the present invention is characterized in that a support section (3) that supports in a manner such that the front-back direction of each vehicle body (100) has an attitude perpendicular to the conveyance direction has an upstream-side support section (30a) and a downstream-side support section (30b) along the conveyance direction, the centers of support columns (31) affixed to the base (5) of the upstream-side support section (30a) and downstream-side support section (30b) are provided to positions of the base (5) that are at the upstream side and downstream side of the center line (CLb) of the base (5) extending in a direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction, and that are separated from each other in opposite directions with respect to the center line (CLa) of the base (5) extending in the conveyance direction, and the bottom of the vehicle body (100) in the state of being supported at a conveyance device (2) is the assembly work space.
