Abstract:

An automobile interior component comprises: a base material; and a surface layer formed on the base material, wherein the base material is made of an alloy of a bisphenol A polycarbonate resin and an ABS resin, the surface layer is made of a polycarbonate resin having a pencil hardness of HB or more based on ASTM D3363, and the base material and the surface layer are formed by insert molding or two-color molding so that the surface layer has a thickness of 0.5 to 5 mm, and so that the surface layer becomes a design surface. The automobile interior component has excellent shock resistance and scratch resistance.
