Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to increase stored electric power in a hybrid-type commercial vehicle by driving the engine by putting the clutch in an ON-state even during braking and by increasing the ratio of regenerative braking force by an electric motor/generator by decreasing the driven force of the engine as much as possible. For this purpose, according to the present invention, an intake closing mechanism (22) is fitted to an intake system (20) providing communication from an air filter (21) for an engine (1) to individual intake valves, and an exhaust closing mechanism (28) is fitted to an exhaust system (26) providing communication from the exhaust valves to a muffler (27). An auxiliary machine (16) is driven from the engine (1) via an auxiliary machine drive means (15). When a storage battery is in a chargeable state during braking, the auxiliary machine (16) is driven by fully closing the intake closing mechanism (22) for the intake system (20) and the exhaust closing mechanism (28) for the exhaust system (26), connecting a clutch (2) while cutting fuel supply, and placing the engine (1) in a state of being driven from the vehicle side.
