Abstract:
This axial gap motor comprises a shaft, a rotor, and a stator. The shaft extends along a rotation axis. The rotor is supported by the shaft in a fixed or rotatable manner. The stator rotationally drives the rotor. The rotor has a magnet. The magnet surrounds the rotation axis. The stator has a coil. The coil faces the magnet with a gap therebetween in the axial direction and is formed by winding a wire. A plurality of coils are arranged in the circumferential direction around the rotation axis to form a coil group. When viewed in the axial direction, the radial outermost end of at least one coil is positioned further on the radial outside than the radial outer end of the magnet.
