Abstract:
An axle support assembly (10) is provided for an electrical device, and which comprises an axle support (12) defining an axle receiver (26) having a cylindrical or substantially cylindrical side wall (24) and an internal base portion (28). There is also an axle (16) having an end (18) which is dimensioned to be press-fit into the axle receiver (26). At least one venting channel (22) extends between the internal base portion (28) of the axle receiver (26) and an exterior (32) of the axle support (12) when the axle (16) is press fit into the axle receiver (26).
