Abstract:
This liquid composition is characterized by comprising 0.0001 to 40 mol% of (Z)-1,2-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene(1223Z) and 99.9999 to 60 mol% of (E)-1,2-dichloro-ethylene(t-DCE). This liquid composition has a low impact on the earth's environment and demonstrates azeotrope (-like) properties. Thus, compositional changes do not practically occur even when used in an open system or when used for a prolonged period of time. Compositional changes also do not tend to occur during recovery by distillation. As a result, this liquid mixture can be favorably used as a cleaning agent (solvent). Further, among these compositions, those with the amount of t-DCE being 90 mol% or less are non-dangerous goods under the Fire Service Act.
