Title:
STYRENE-BASED FOAM SHEET AND MOLDED ARTICLE USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/080134
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a styrene-based foam sheet that is foamed by using a styrene-based resin composition, which is obtained by combining a styrene-based resin and a polylactic acid without impairing the beneficial properties of these materials, as well as a molded article obtained by thermoforming the same. Specifically, provided are a styrene-based foam sheet characterized in that the foam sheet is obtained by foaming a styrene-based resin composition including an impact-resistant styrene-based resin (A) and a polylactic acid (B), as well as a molded article obtained by thermoforming the same. In particular, the ratio of the impact-resistant styrene-based resin (A) and the polylactic acid (B) to be used, which is represented as a mass ratio of (A)/(B), is preferably within a range of 99/1 to 85/15.
