Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of display devices. Disclosed are a backlight module and a display apparatus. The backlight module comprises: a backplane, which comprises a bottom plate and a vertical plate connected to an edge of the bottom plate, the bottom plate matching the vertical plate to define an accommodating space; a light guide plate, which is located in the accommodating space, a safety gap being provided between the light guide plate and the vertical plate in the backplane; and an optical film, which is located in the accommodating space and on the side of the light guide plate that is away from the bottom plate, wherein the surface of the light guide plate that faces the optical film is provided with a first positioning portion and a second positioning portion; the first positioning portion positions the optical film in a first direction; the second positioning portion positions the optical film in a second direction; the first direction is perpendicular to the second direction; and the first direction and the second direction are both parallel to an extending surface of the light guide plate. The backlight module can avoid causing defects such as scratches of the optical film during a mechanical vibration experiment.
