Abstract:
A backlight source, an adjustment method therefor, an adjustment device and a display device. The backlight source comprises: a drive unit (1), a register (4), a pulse width modulation unit (3) and a light-emitting unit (2), wherein the pulse width modulation unit (3) is connected between the drive unit (1) and the light-emitting unit (2), and the register (4) is connected to the pulse width modulation unit (3). The drive unit (1) is used for converting a voltage signal into an original drive signal; the register (4) is used for defining a pre-set threshold value, wherein the pre-set threshold value is the maximum value of a duty ratio of an output signal of the pulse width modulation unit (3) in a pulse width modulation process; the pulse width modulation unit (3) is used for adjusting the duty ratio of the drive signal according to the pre-set threshold value, and generating an adjustment drive signal; and the light-emitting unit (2) is used for emitting light under the drive of the adjustment drive signal. The backlight source can limit the maximum luminance thereof, so that the actual luminance range thereof is adjusted.
