Abstract:
A backrest (7) is provided with: a tensile material (71) having formed thereon a load support surface (71f) that receives the load of a seated person; a back/front frame (80F) that supports the outer peripheral edge (71e) of the tensile material (71); an attachment section (87) that is formed on the back/front frame (80F) and that faces the tensile material (71) with a space therebetween in a direction intersecting the load support surface (71f); and a lumbar support (200) that can be detachably attached to the attachment section (87). The lumbar support (200) comprises an attached section (222) that extends in a direction following the load support surface (71f), that is inserted in a space (S) between the tensile material (71) and the attachment section (87), and that is fixed to the attachment section (87).
