Title:
BACTERIOPHAGE RESISTANCE INHIBITOR FOR FOOD POISONING BACTERIA AND USE OF INHIBITOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/224941
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are: a novel, effective bacteriophage resistance inhibitor for food poisoning bacteria that is effective against a wide variety of food poisoning bacteria, and the use of said inhibitor; a composition for inhibiting proliferation of food poisoning bacteria; and a method for inhibiting bacteriophage resistance of food poisoning bacteria. The bacteriophage resistance inhibitor for food poisoning bacteria contains a chelating agent or nisin as an active ingredient. The composition for inhibiting proliferation of food poisoning bacterial includes a bacteriophage and the aformentioned bacteriophage resistance inhibitor for food poisoning bacteria. The use of the bacteriophage resistance inhibitor for food poisoning bacteria is specifically the use of a bacteriophage resistance inhibitor for food poisoning bacteria that contains a chelating agent or nisin as an active ingredient, and involves a use for inhibiting the food poisoning bacteria from developing resistance to the bacteriophage. The method for inhibiting bacteriophage resistance of food poisoning bacteria involves the use of a chelating agent or nisin.
