Abstract:
Disclosed are a ball retainer and an angular contact ball bearing, the ball retainer comprising a plurality of retainer bodies (1), wherein ball pockets (2) are arranged on end faces of two sides of each retainer body (1), a surface of each ball pocket (2) is used for making contact with a bearing ball (4), the linear distance between any two points on any cross section of each retainer body (1) is smaller than the diameter of the bearing ball (4), and one retainer body (1) is arranged between every two adjacent bearing balls (4), such that the service life of the bearing ball (4) is prolonged, and the weight and the starting torque of bearing are reduced; and the angular contact ball bearing comprises a bearing inner ring (3), bearing balls (4), a bearing outer ring (5) and the ball retainer, wherein a ball slideway is arranged between the bearing inner ring (3) and the bearing outer ring (5), the ball retainer is used for separating the bearing balls (4) and preventing the bearing balls (4) from falling off, a plurality of bearing balls (4) are arranged, the number of the bearing balls (4) is the same as that of the retainer bodies (1), each bearing ball (4) can slide in the ball slideway, and the ball retainer does not affect the arrangement of the bearing inner ring (3) and the bearing outer ring (5), such that a contact angle of bearing can be increased.
