Abstract:
This ballast water treatment device comprises: a liquid chemical preparation tank including a chemical retention container that retains a chemical for ballast water treatment, a tank body that accommodates the chemical supplied from the chemical retention container and water for dissolving the chemical, and a mixing unit that mixes the chemical and the water in the tank body; a liquid chemical storage tank that stores a liquid chemical obtained by dissolving the chemical in the water in the liquid chemical preparation tank; and a liquid chemical supply unit that supplies, to ballast water, the liquid chemical stored in the liquid chemical storage tank.
