Abstract:

Disclosed in the present invention is a banknote graffiti detection method. A watermark region of a banknote is used as the standard; gray-scale histograms of the watermark region on a reflection image and a transmission image are calculated respectively; then weighted summation is performed so as to obtain a weighted gray-scale histogram; mean value operation is performed according to the weighted gray-scale histogram so as to obtain a gray-scale background threshold; accumulative summation is performed on a gray-scale histogram of a non-watermark blank region in the reflection image and the gray-scale histogram of the watermark region so as to obtain a gray-scale histogram of the reflection image; proportion operation is performed on the basis of the gray-scale background threshold and the gray-scale histogram of the reflection image to obtain a graffiti index of the banknote to be detected. Thus, the problems of a complex and time-consuming algorithm in an existing banknote image graffiti detection method are resolved; the degree of graffiti of the banknote can be quantitatively described; the present invention is suitable for various different types of banknotes, and can achieve quick and effective effects.
