A base board, comprising a processor and a memory and communicating with an expansion board by means of an external interface. The expansion board is used for expanding the function of the base board. The base board is further provided with a mounting structure, and is fixedly connected to a case where the base board is located by means of the mounting structure. The position of the mounting structure on the base board is determined according to the processor, memory, and stress factors. The positions of the mounting structures on the base boards of different sizes are overlapped. The positions of the mounting structures on the base boards of different sizes can be arranged in an overlapped mode; therefore, when the base board on the case needs to be replaced, the base boards of other sizes can be mounted on the case by adopting the mounting structures of which the positions are overlapped, so that the compatibility of the case to the base boards of different sizes can be improved. In this way, when the base board on the case is replaced, the case does not need to be redeveloped to adapt to a new base board, so that the development cost and the development cycle of the whole machine manufacturer can be reduced.
