Abstract:
A connector-based port management method, comprising: identifying access of an assembly; obtaining an assembly requirement by means of a transmission interface provided by a connector, the assembly requirement being used for indicating the attribute of a port required by the assembly; and according to the assembly requirement, matching a port mode of the port connected to the connector with the assembly. In this way, the defect that the definition of a port signal of a same connector cannot be adaptively and flexibly configured, can be suitable for only one high-speed signal type, and supports components of a same type is overcome, the flexibility of the port is effectively improved, more assemblies are supported at a same port, and the configuration flexibility of the whole computer is improved.
