Abstract:
A single-layer base film for hydraulic transfer which comprises 100 parts by mass of poly(vinyl alcohol) and 1.5-15 parts by mass of a platy or acicular filler having an average particle diameter of 2-14 µm and an aspect ratio of 4-60; and a process for producing the base film for hydraulic transfer, the process including a step in which a raw liquid for film formation that comprises 100 parts by mass of poly(vinyl alcohol) and 1.5-15 parts by mass of a platy or acicular filler having an average particle diameter of 2-14 µm and an aspect ratio of 4-60 is used to form a film. Due to this, it is possible to provide a base film for hydraulic transfer which is less apt to break when unrolled and a process for producing the base film.
