The purpose of the present invention is to provide a base station device, a terminal device and a communication method which enable an improvement in communication performance in a system in which a plurality of frame formats are used. A base station device is provided with: a higher layer processing unit for setting, for a terminal device, a radio parameter including information relating to a plurality of subcarrier spacings and a CP length in each of the plurality of subcarrier spacings; a multiplexing unit for mapping a downlink shared channel to resource elements; and a radio transmission unit for generating an OFDM signal on the basis of the radio parameter from the output of the multiplexing unit, converting the OFDM signal into a radio signal, and transmitting the radio signal, wherein in some of the plurality of subcarrier spacings, one among a plurality of kinds of CP lengths is set, and in the remaining subcarrier spacings, one kind of CP length is set.
