Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a novel scheme in which a base station can know ability information of a mobile station before establishment of an RRC connection is completed. [Solution] A base station is configured to wirelessly communicate with a mobile station. The base station has a communication device configured to receive a message including at least one information element, before establishment of a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection is completed. The base station has a processor configured to acquire ability information relating to the ability of the mobile station, on the basis of the at least one information element.
