Abstract:
Degradation of azimuth determination errors can be suppressed even under an environment of multipath propagation. A predetermined measurement precision can be maintained even if a mobile unit is not existent at any position in a line of sight of a base station. A base station of a mobile communication system for establishing a particular communication with a mobile unit, comprising a directivity control means (12) for performing transmission controls of a first antenna beam, which has been code identified by a first code and rotates clockwise, and a second antenna beam which has been code identified by a second code different from the first code and which rotates anticlockwise.
