Abstract:
A base station according to the present invention is a base station for managing a cell, wherein a control unit is provided that is capable of control in which prescribed information that is control information or user data is sent to a user terminal connected to the cell using a first transmission power. When an amount or percentage of unallocated resources that are wireless resources that can be used for the transmission of the prescribed information exceeds a threshold, the control unit carries out redundant transmission control in which instead of the prescribed information being sent at the first transmission power, the unallocated resources are used to redundantly send the prescribed information at a second transmission power that is lower than the first transmission power.
