Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a base tread rubber composition which makes it possible to improve pass-by noise and achieve excellent rolling resistance when used in a tire.　The present invention is a base tread rubber composition to be used in the base tread of the tread section of a tire, said composition being characterized in that the ratio (0°Ctanδ/30°Ctanδ) of tanδ at 0°C (0°Ctanδ) to tanδ at 30°C (30°Ctanδ) is at least 2.90.
