Abstract:
The present application provides a battery cell, a battery and an electric device. The battery cell comprises an electrode assembly, a housing and an insulating member. The housing is used for accommodating the electrode assembly, the housing is provided with a wall portion, a first pressure relief area is provided on the wall portion, and the first pressure relief area is opened when the battery cell is subjected to thermal runaway. The insulating member is at least partially provided between the electrode assembly and the wall portion so as to insulate and isolate the electrode assembly from the wall portion. A second pressure relief area is provided at a position of the insulating member corresponding to the first pressure relief area, and the second pressure relief area is used for allowing gas to pass through the insulating member to reach the first pressure relief area when the battery cell is subjected to thermal runaway. According to the battery cell, the insulating member is provided between the wall portion and the electrode assembly so as to insulate and isolate the wall portion from the electrode assembly, so that the safety of the battery cell is improved. When the battery cell is subjected to thermal runaway, the second pressure relief area allows gas to pass through the insulating member to relieve pressure by means of the first pressure relief area, so that the safety is high.
