Abstract:
A battery cell according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a battery case in which an electrode assembly is mounted in a storage unit, and which comprises a sealing part having a closed structure of which an outer periphery is sealed by thermal bonding; an electrode lead which passes through the sealing part and projects outwardly from the battery case, and is electrically connected to an electrode tab included in the electrode assembly; and a lead film which is located at a portion corresponding to the sealing part of at least one of an upper part and a lower part of the electrode lead, wherein the lead film has a recessed portion inwardly recessed in an inward direction of the battery case, and the recessed portion is open to the outside of the battery case.
