Abstract:
This battery control device, which controls the operation of a battery connected to a power grid, contains: a detection means that detects battery-related information representing the battery state or the voltage of an interconnection point between the power grid and the battery; a first communication means that transmits the detection results of the detection means to an external device and that receives operation control information for controlling the operation of the battery from an external device; and a control means that, on the basis of the state of the power grid and the operation control information received by the first communication means, controls the operation of the battery.
