Abstract:
Provided is a battery cushioning material in which thermal insulation performance is maintained and rapid increases in reaction force are suppressed even when the compression rate is high. The battery cushioning material 100 is disposed between adjacent members constituting a battery, is a sheet-shaped structure comprising an elastic material, and has a front surface–side protrusion 21 extending on the front surface 11 side and a rear surface–side protrusion 22 extending on the rear surface 13 side. The front surface–side protrusion 21 and the rear surface–side protrusion 22 have a hollow cone shape or a hollow spherical segment shape, and the front surface–side protrusion 21 and the rear surface–side protrusion 22 are crushed when an external force accompanying expansion of the members is applied thereto.
