Abstract:
This battery management system comprises: a linear member attached to each of a plurality of cells included in a battery unit; a detection unit which calculates an impedance change of the linear member on the basis of a reflected wave propagating through the linear member, and detects a temperature change in the plurality of cells on the basis of the calculated impedance change; and a determination unit which determines whether or not there is an abnormality in the plurality of cells in accordance with the detection result of the detection unit.
